CSF has been at the forefront of pushing the performance limits of the S63 engine with its Twin Charge Air Coolers. Today, many M5, M6, and M8 models are exceeding 1000HP, but with greater power comes increased heat. As power levels rise, so do oil temperatures, with some owners experiencing temperatures surpassing 240°F (115°C) during intense track sessions. As these M cars continue to age and power thresholds are pushed further, factory cooling systems are struggling to keep up.
To address this challenge, CSF partnered with Carbahn to develop a direct-fit solution for both platforms. Engineered to manage the extreme heat generated by Carbahn’s new S63 Stroker Kit, this oil cooler is designed for peak performance and reliability.
But enhanced performance isn’t the only reason to upgrade. Many F1X and F9X owners have had to replace their oil coolers due to leaks and damage, primarily caused by their exposed mounting position—a problem worsened by lowered suspension setups. A stronger, more durable design was needed to resolve these issues.
